Reporting to the Commercial Insurance Director

Location - Belfast

The Role

The role of Client Relationship Manager involves developing a strong portfolio of commercial clients by:

  • Assessing, underwriting and pricing risks
  • Maintaining long-term client and broker relationships
  • Generating new business opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients and brokers
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term client and broker relationships
  • Conduct regular broker reviews and maintain a healthy business pipeline
  • Network proactively and generate leads through referrals, events and industry activity
  • Arrange and manage new policy placements, renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Ensure all documentation, files and processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Support clients throughout the claims process, ensuring a smooth experience
  • Negotiate effectively to secure and retain business
  • Produce accurate, timely communication with all stakeholders

  • Effective organisation and time management skills

Experience

  • Previous experience in insurance, sales or account management is essential
