Reporting to the Commercial Insurance Director
Location - Belfast
The Role
The role of Client Relationship Manager involves developing a strong portfolio of commercial clients by:
- Assessing, underwriting and pricing risks
- Maintaining long-term client and broker relationships
- Generating new business opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients and brokers
- Build and sustain strong, long-term client and broker relationships
- Conduct regular broker reviews and maintain a healthy business pipeline
- Network proactively and generate leads through referrals, events and industry activity
- Arrange and manage new policy placements, renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Ensure all documentation, files and processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements
- Support clients throughout the claims process, ensuring a smooth experience
- Negotiate effectively to secure and retain business
- Produce accurate, timely communication with all stakeholders
Skills and Competencies
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of commercial awareness and business acumen
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking
- Effective organisation and time management skills
Experience
- Previous experience in insurance, sales or account management is essential
