ICW supports Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

ICW has made a donation to the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI) in support of the vital service that they provide across Northern Ireland.

AANI is a charity working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to deliver the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service, enabling doctors and paramedics to bring vital interventions, treatments and care to patients in emergency situations.

As a charity, AANI relies on support from the public and local businesses to keep the service operational 365 days a year, reaching any location in Northern Ireland within 25 minutes. This rapid response is crucial, as the 'Golden Hour' following a serious injury is critical for patient survival. By delivering advanced medical care at the scene and transporting patients quickly to hospital, AANI significantly increases the chance of a positive outcome.

Knowing that critical medical care can reach patients within minutes can make all the difference in a life-threatening emergency. This is why ICW is proud to support the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI). The devastating experience of a colleague's family, who relied on the swift and expert care of AANI after a serious accident, has deeply impacted ICW. The rapid response and specialised care provided by AANI was critical during the incident.
